Tunisia Denies US' Use of Base to Operate Anti-Daesh Drone Missions in Libya

Tunisia denied news that the US had used one of its military bases in launching drone raids over Daesh militants in Libya.

"We just received a number of drones to be used in the Tunisian army training and to monitor any dubious movements along the southern borders," the spokesman for the Tunisian Defense Ministry said.

US media sources have earlier said that Washington has been secretly operating drones from a base in Tunisia since June.
