A truck carrying ammunitions from Tabriz to Tehran in Iran caught fire after it got a flat tyre, according to the police.
The truck, possessed by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, caught fire while traveling on the freeway linking Qazvin to Zanjan, the police news center said.
The fire began after the front tyre of the truck blasted while running, Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted the Center as saying.
The fire caused by the blasted tyre soon spread to the ammunition cargo causing an explosion which ultimately resulted in a blockade of the free-way.
No injuries or deaths have been reported, according to IRNA.
