The First Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has given a directive to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to carry out good preparations for the Arabicization Conference, scheduled to be held on November 17. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in statement following his meeting with the First Vice President that Taha has given a directives for coordinating the official and the civil society efforts for convening the important conference. The minister explained that the conference will last for five days during which a number of papers will be presented with the participation of the figures concerned with the Arabic language at scientific and cultural institutions and the Sudanese universities. He indicated that the meeting also reviewed the performance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in all fields.
