Crowds of Syrian protesters chanting anti-Russian slogans have attacked the Russian embassy in Tripoli. Reports say about 200 people entered the embassy and replaced the Russian flag with a Syrian one. The attack comes after Russia and China vetoed a second UN Security Council resolution on Syria. The move outraged the Syrian opposition, who seek the immediate ouster of President Bashar al-Assad. Similar protests were held by Syrian opposition supporters in Athens, Berlin, Cairo, Kuwait and London.
