Syrian air defense forces on Tuesday downed an Israeli warplane in Quneitra Countryside in south-west Syria and a reconnaissance aircraft of the Israeli occupation troops in Damascus Countryside. 

The general command of the army and the armed forces said in a statement that the Israeli occupation aviation attacked a Syrian military post in Quneitra Countryside.

The statement, carried by SANA, said the Syrian air defense forces managed to down the Israeli aircraft in the relevant areas.
