The President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, met today at his summer residence in Beit Eddine with Turkish ambassador to Lebanon, Inan Ozyildiz, with talks reportedly featured high over efforts to release the two kidnapped Turkish pilots as soon as possible. Sleiman also confirmed that Turkey should intensify its efforts to set free Azaz abductees. Sleiman also welcomed at Beit Eddine Palace a delegation headed by Deputy Mohammad Hajjar who supported the President\'s positions to preserve the Lebanese stability and unity and prevent having repercussions of the current developments in the region over the domestic scene . Separately, Sleiman met with Former Premier Deputy Issam Abou Jamra and discussed with him current developments over the national scene. Sleiman also welcomed Deputy Fadi Al-Habr with talks featured high over current political issues. The President also met with Former Deputy Emile Nawfal and discussed with him general issues. Moreover; Sleiman welcomed at his summer Presidency residence Romanian Ambassador to Lebanon Daniel Tanase, in a farewell visit upon the end of the latter\'s diplomatic duties in Lebanon. The President awarded Tanase with National Cedar Medal in appreciation to his role in strengthening bilateral relations, wishing him success in his new position.
