Police arrested six protesters Saturday after violence erupted at the Syrian Embassy in London, where about 150 demonstrators gathered, officials said. The demonstration in London was one of many rallies outside Syrian embassies worldwide as news of the deaths of more than 200 people killed in a deadly attack Friday in Homs spread, The Daily Telegraph reported. Human-rights activists said Syrian forces used tanks and machine guns to kill at least 200 people and wound hundreds more in Homs, a flashpoint city in the 11 months of protests against the regime of President Bashar Assad. Reports of the massacre came as the U.N. Security Council prepared to meet Saturday to consider a resolution backing an Arab League peace plan for Syria. Demonstrators in Egypt, Greece, Kuwait and Germany forced their way into the diplomatic facilities and ransacked offices, the Telegraph said. In London, first-floor windows were broken and pink paint was splattered onto the building as protesters sang, danced, played drums and waved Syrian flags, witnesses said. \"People are angry. I\'m worried about the situation back home,\" Anass Toma told the BBC. \"I\'ve been in London two years but I\'m Syrian, from Aleppo.\"
