President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday received the credentials of eight newly-appointed ambassadors to Egypt.

The new ambassadors are representing the United Arab Emirates, the United Mexican States, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Israel, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Belgium, Greece and the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The president welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their mission, stressing that Egypt is committed to enhancing relations with their countries across a variety of fields.


Following is a list of the new ambassadors: 

- Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates: H.E. Mr. Juma Mubarak Juma Al Junaibi

- Ambassador of the United Mexican States: H.E. Mr. Jose Octavio Tripp Villanueva 

- Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar: H.E. Mr. Myint Lwin

- Ambassador of Israel: H.E. Dr. David Govrin

- Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands: H.E. Dr. Johannes Laurentius Westhoff

- Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium: H.E. Mrs. Sibille de Cartier d'Yves

- Ambassador of Greece: H.E. Mr. Michel-Christos Diamessis

- Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia: H.E. Mr. Abdul-Ghani Mohamed Elmy.
