Seoul - Yonhap
South Korea has asked Japan to provide detailed records on radioactive water leaked from its tsunami-damaged reactor and may send a team of specialists to Tokyo if needed, the foreign ministry said Monday. A food scare escalated in the country after Japan\'s revelations last month that tons of radioactive water had poured out of the Fukushima nuclear plant. Consumers have been demanding measures to ensure that radioactive-tainted fisheries products from the area do not enter Korea. Japan had given Korea notifications about the leak through diplomatic channels.
