The President of the Republic of the South Sudan, Gen. Salva Kiir, arrived Tuesday morning in Khartoum heading a high-level delegation in an official visit to Sudan. He was received upon his arrival at Khartoum Airport by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Hassan AL-Bashir, and a number of ministers, senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Khartoum. The two parties are due to hold talks at the Friendship Hall on the outstanding issues, top of them is Abyei issue, the flow and exportation of South Sudan oil through Sudan territories, the joint border and the zero line, trade, the security arrangements and the joint economic cooperation. The President of the Republic of South Sudan will meet the First Vice President, Ali Osman Mohammed Taha, after the official talks at the Friendship Hall. The delegation accompanying President Salva Kiir included the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Interior, Security, Oil, Minerals and Industry, the Deputy of Minister of Finance, Trade and Investment along with businessmen and other senior officials.
