Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin praised on Monday historic bonds between Moscow and Arab countries.Putin made his remarks during a TV interview, describing relations with Arab countries as traditional and stressed on mutual interests to improve trade and economic ties.Putin who recently announced his run for the presidential election, played down effects of such relations with Arab countries as result of current developments in the region, shedding light on history and especially relations between Russia and Egypt in the seventies.The Russian premier said that his country does not want to become a police state, but at the same time will not allow anyone to interfere with its national interests.
