Russian President Dmitry Medvedev renewed on Thursday his country\'s objection to possible foreign intervention in Syria. The Russian presidential office said in a press statement that the Russian leader renewed his stance during a telephone call with UAE counterpart Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahayan. President Medvedev noted that foreign interference in a country\'s internal affairs is a violation of its sovereignty, which is considered a violation of international law that would threaten regional and global stability. The Russian leader called once again for stopping bloodshed and start national dialogue in Syria with all political parties involved. Last night, the Russian leader made similar calls to Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki.
