Russia said Thursday that it had evacuated its embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, following an attack on the building, dpa reported. All the embassy staff and their relatives were taken to Tunisia, from where they were to be flown to Russia on Friday, the Foreign Ministry said. A special plane was due to fly to the Tunisian island of Djerba late Thursday to pick them up, a ministry spokesman told the Interfax news agency.
