A rocket fired from southern Lebanon, apparently targeting northern Israel, crashed on Lebanese territories wounding a woman, security sources said Monday. The sources said the Katyusha rocket, unleashed from the valley of Al-Qaisiah hit a house in the Lebanese village of Hola, wounding Nusaira Abbas. She suffered injuries in the leg and was hospitalized. A rocket was recently fired in the direction of northern Israel from southern Lebanon, but caused no injuries. Southern Lebanon had also witnessed two bombing attacks on international peacekeepers. Meanwhile, Israel radio, monitored in Gaza, quoted a spokesman of the Israeli Army as saying a locally-made rocket fired from northern Gaza harmlessly crashed into southern Israel. Israeli warplanes carried out raids, over the past days, on locations in Gaza, in retaliation for such attacks.
