Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho left here for home on Friday after a two-day visit to Angola over bilateral cooperation at the invitation of Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos. Passos Coelho received a farewell at Luanda\'s international Airport from Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister Georges Rebelo Chikoti, Provincial Governor of Luanda Bento Bento, Angolan Ambassador to Portugal Marcos Barrica and Portuguese Ambassador to Angola Francisco Teles. During his first visit to Angola, Passos Coelho met with President Jose Eduardo dos Santos and Speaker of the National Assembly Antonio Paulo Kassoma. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Passos Coelho denied any opportunism in the relations between Angola and Portugal on account of the severe financial crisis currently affecting his country. \"The relations between Portugal and Angola date back to long years, it is not based on opportunity,\" said Passos Coelho. The Portuguese premier said President dos Santos pledged support for his country amid the financial crisis.
