A Palestinian official on Sunday slammed Jewish settlers for attacking Palestinian vehicles in the West Bank city of Nablus. Jabreen Al-Bakri, the city\'s governor, said that the settlers \" launch systematic attacks against the Palestinian people and their property.\" He accused the Israeli army of \"setting the settlers\' hands free to attack the Palestinian people in order to seize their lands.\" Earlier, an anti-settlement Palestinian activist said that the settlers hurled rocks and damaged about 20 cars in Nablus. The settlers were on a street that leads to the nearby settlement of Yitzhar. There are about half million Israelis living in West Bank settlements. In recent months, the extremist settlers step up their attacks against Palestinians in a campaign called \"price tag. \" The \"price tag\" attack usually target Arabs and their property as well as Christian and Muslim holy sites in occupied West Bank. They include torching cars, chopping of olive trees, and spray- painting \"Price Tag\" and racist slogans on walls of Palestinian buildings.
