Large crowds of people staged anti-US demonstrations in Pakistan\'s Eastern city of Lahore to condemn the US threats against the Muslim state.Angry protesters gathered outside the US Consulate in Lahore and chanted anti-American slogans. Protesters called on Islamabad\'s government to respond properly to the US threats and avoid decisions which serve or are in line with the US goals. Mohammad Habib Erfani, a prominent religious scholar, said that the protest rally is against the policies of the US administration and its plots against Muslims. On Tuesday, several thousand Pakistanis held similar rallies across the country lashing out at the United States\' growing pressures on Islamabad. Hundreds of protesters held a rally outside the US consulate general in the port city of Karachi to condemn the US threats. Carrying Pakistani flags, placards and banners inscribed with slogans condemning the US, the protestors shouted: \"We\'ll sacrifice our lives to save Pakistan\" and \"Death to America.\"
