Pakistani security forces killed on Saturday six militants while sweeping the South-West of Pakistan for militants. A security source said that the mission was conducted after 14 people were killed recently at the hands of militants in the area. After the operation, the Pakistani force found a large number of weapons with the militants. The operation is part of the nationwide struggle with militants. Last Tuesday, unknown gunmen killed three officers from the military and police in a shooting that took place North of Pakistan. The gunmen opened fire on the vehicle transporting the officers. All three of them were killed and another police officer was injured.
