Pakistan has captured an Indian soldier along the Kashmir border in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, the Huffington Post quoted military officials in the two countries as saying.
"It is confirmed one soldier from 37 Rashtriya Rifles with weapons has inadvertently crossed over to the Pakistan side of the Line of Control," an Indian army official said.
officials in Pakistan's Chhamb's sector said an armed Indian soldier was captured at 1330 local time on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan military had claimed that it had killed eight Indian soldiers and captured one while retaliating to India's strikes at the first line of defense at the Line of Control (LoC) at Tatta Pani, according to media reports.
