President Obama will hold a news conference tomorrow afternoon -- the same day Republican voters troop to the polls in Super Tuesday primaries and caucuses. White House press secretary Jay Carney tweeted out the announcement. There\'s no specific time yet, but officials are aiming for around 1 p.m,, Washington time. The Republican presidential race will likely be only one of the topics of Obama\'s news conference. Others include Obama\'s meeting today with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the prospect of an Israeli military strike on Iran, as well as the violence in Syria. The economy will also likely be discussed. This is Obama\'s first formal news conference since October, though Obama also spoke with reporters after an Asian economic summit in Hawaii in November. This isn\'t the first time Obama has sought to upstage Republican voting. Last Tuesday, amid GOP primaries in Arizona and Michigan, Obama gave a fiery speech to the United Auto Workers defending the car industry bailout.
