President Barack Obama met China\'s Vice President Xi Jinping at the White House on Tuesday as the US leader reaches out to the expected future leader of the rising Asian power. Obama received the 58-year-old Chinese leader-in-waiting in the Oval Office, following Xi\'s meetings earlier in the day at the White House with Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
