Moscow - Itar-Tass
The campaign headquarters of opposition candidate Alexei Navalny said on Thursday that the Moscow Election Commission had no grounds for removing him from the mayoral election. Campaign head Leonid Volkov said he knew only of one complaint lodged with the election commission. This was from A Just Russia candidate Nikolai Levichev concerning campaign material seized from an apartment used by Navalny supporters. “Tomorrow, on Friday, the complaint will be looked into. This is the only appeal against us. Even if it is recognised as justified, there are no grounds for removal,” Volkov said.
