Secretary-General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Elaraby and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will open an international meeting dedicated to support Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees(UNRWA ) on September 26 in New York, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Affairs Ambassador Mohamed Sabih announced that the Arab League conference has put into its consideration to make this meeting a success, stressing that UNRWA suffers at this stage a severe financial crisis due to serious events taking place in Syria as well as there are about nearly 450 000 Palestinian refugees in Syria who migrated to Lebanon , Egypt and other Arab countries and they are in need for considerable support .
