The state-run daily New Light of Myanmar Friday hailed the recent visit of Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to the country, saying that the goodwill visit will further strengthen existing friendly relation between the two countries. \"Myanmar and Thai write a page in history together,\"the daily said in its editorial. The editorial stressed that Thai PM\'s visit to Myanmar is considered to be a drive to foster existing friendship and cooperation between the two nations. Yingluck\'s one-day official visit to Myanmar ended on Wednesday. During her short stay in Nay Pyi Taw, Yingluck met with Myanmar\'s President U Thein Sein. During a separate meeting between Yingluck and U Thein Sein,the two leaders held talks on cooperation matters including border affairs, border trade, Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand, construction of motor road, narcotic drug eradication and promotion of trade and investment between the two countries,it added. U Thein Sein thanked for its support for Myanmar on the proposal of Myanmar to take responsibility of Alternate Chairman of ASEAN in 2014. They also witnessed the presentation of meteorological equipment and the exchanging documents on border road construction. It was the Thai prime minister\'s first visit to the country after taking office, following her trip to Brunei, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos later September.
