Tehran - Irna
Rapporteur of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali said Sunday that sanctions imposed on Iran lacked legal foundation. The MP made the remarks commenting on reports about imposing possible sanctions against Iran’s Central Bank (Bank-e Markazi) by the West. Sanctions were imposed based on a mistaken impression which said Iran’s nuclear program had a non-civilian nature while Iran has repeatedly proved the peaceful nature of its nuclear activities at international organizations, Jalali said.
