Deputy foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed that Syria has fully cooperated with the UN investigation committee in the allegations on the use of chemical weapons, and offered them all facilitations. Meeting Philippine\'s deputy foreign Minister Rafael Seguis, Mikdad was astonished of the statements of western officials which include information to mislead the public opinion in those states and to cover the support of Britain, France and Saudi Arabia to the terrorists to destroy Syria and shed blood in the country. During the meeting, Mikdad briefed his Philippine\'s counterpart on the latest developments in light of the hostile threats uttered by western states against Syria, affirming that any aggression on Syria mainly aims at changing its national stances. He stressed the Syrian government\'s commitment to guaranteeing the safety and security of all citizens of Philippine resident in Syria. Seguis, for his part, described as deep and strong the relations between Syria and Philippine, saying that his government supports a political solution to the crisis in Syria to keep its territorial integrity.
