Mali\'s newly elected government has started reconciliation talks with separatist Tuareg rebels in the country\'s north, DPA reported. National Reconciliation Minister Cheick Oumar Diarrah, accompanied by Homeland Security Minister Sada Samak and Interior Minister Sinko Moussa Coulibaly, on Sunday visited Kidal, which was held by Tuareg rebels during the country\'s 18-month political crisis. The ministers were debating with traditional leaders how best to implement a peace agreement struck in neighbouring Burkina Faso in June.
