Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his US Counterpart John Kerry discussed the situation in Syria during a phone call on Tuesday.

    The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two sides discussed bilateral relations, as well as the coordination of Moscow and Washington's approaches to fighting armed groups in Syria.
