Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sheikh Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah arrived here Wednesday to preside over Kuwait\'s delegation to the 92nd session of the Economic and Social Council at the level of ministers of finance on Thursday. The gathering discusses several topics, including the report of the Secretary-General of the Arab League on following up the implementation of the decisions of the previous session as well as the economic issues to be presented to the 3rd Arab-African Summit to be hosted by Kuwait in November. Among the topics to be discussed are the implementation of economic-related provisions of the (Lima Declaration) issued following the conclusion of the 3rd Summit of the Arab countries and South American counterparts, in addition to files relating to the Arab Free Trade Area and the developments of the Arab Customs Union. The agenda of the 92nd session will also include topics including the appointment of a Commissioner for the Arab Investment Court, the Charter of maintaining the architectural heritage in the Arab countries, periodical economic issues and ways of activating the social committee of the Council as well as Arab-international cooperation in the areas of social and developmental issues related to specialized Arab organizations.
