Jordan\'s King Abdullah II met here on Thursday with US Vice-President Joe Biden. The King and Biden discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, mainly the Syrian crisis, and also the efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis based on the two-state solution. The King will also deliver an address at the General Assembly and meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, a number of heads of states and senior figures as part of the continuing consultations and coordination efforts in connection with the latest developments in the Middle East.
