Ensour checked on the progress of work at the embassy and voiced appreciation for the efforts being made by the embassy\'s staff in serving the interests of both Jordan and Egypt. The prime minister, who was accompanied by State Minister for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Al Momani, stressed the need to keep channels open between the embassy and Jordanians in Egypt to check on their conditions and remove any obstacles that they might face. There are currently 4,000 Jordanian students studying at the Egyptian universities and colleges in addition to 13,000 others living in that country.
