Jewish settlers in Jerusalem entered Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, Jewish new year. Around 45 settlers including rabbis went into the yard of Al-Aqsa Mosque to read the religious texts and perform their religious ceremonies, eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency. On Wednesday, around 60 settlers along with 500 Israeli soldiers occupied the mosque while forces fired tear gas against Palestinians to prevent worshippers from entering the mosque. englishnews@aa.com.tr
