Hundreds of extremist settlers on Wednesday stormed east of Nablus city north of the West bank, under the protection of Israeli forces. Palestinian sources reported that hundreds of Jewish settlers broke into what they claim to be \"Joseph Tomb\" east of the city and performed their religious rituals, noting that violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the extremists. The sources said that Israeli soldiers, backed by more that 10 military vehicles, fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs. Settlers storm the area on weekly basis since 2000 after the withdrawal of the occupation forces following bloody clashes with Palestinian activists.
