Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe is starting an official two-day visit Monday, upon the invitation of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The senior guest was received upon arrival to Bayan Palace with the national anthems of the two nations and with the honorary guard. Premier Abe then received dignitaries in welcome, topped by The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. Abe was also greeted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sheikh Salem Abdelaziz Al-Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah. Also greeting the senior guest were Head of the Honorary Mission Prime Minister Diwan Advisor Faisal Mohammad Al-Hajji, Sheikhs, ministers, senior commanders in the army, police, and National Guard, and head of the diplomatic corps the Senegalese Ambassador, along with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Humoud Al-Otaibi.
