Egyptian Ambassador in Rome Amr Helmy on Monday stressed that Italian tour operators started to positively respond to a campaign launched by the Ministry of Tourism to promote Egyptian tourist destinations. 

Following a meeting with a number of Italian tour operators, Helmy said that the professional campaign managed to encourage a number of Italian travel agencies to develop integrated programs to visit Egypt. 

Such will be positively reflected on the Italian tourist flow to Egypt during the coming period, the Egyptian envoy said. 

The Italian market is one of the main out-bound markets, especially for Egypt, Helmy noted.
