Italian coast guards rescue 4,655 migrants off Libya coasts

As many as 4,6555 migrants were rescued and 28 found dead off the Libya coasts in 30 rescue operations carried out by the Italian coast guards over the past 24 hours, Russia Today reported.

More than 10,000 migrants were plucked from sea, while 50 others were found dead over the past two days.

According to the International Organisation for Migration, around 142,000 migrants have arrived in Italy since the start of the year and 3,054 have died during their illegal immigration trips.
