The Israeli forces opened fire at two Palestinians approaching the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip and killed one of them on Monday. The other man was injured and apprehended by the Golani Brigade following a short chase while Israeli aircraft were circling over the area, Israel Radio reported this evening, citing a military source. The source claimed that two men were militant who tried to plant explosive charges near the borders.
