Israeli police on Thursday detained 20 Palestinians at separate demonstrations against Israel\'s Prawer Plan to relocate Bedouin residents of the Negev desert. Police said the detainees threw stones toward Israeli security forces. Police spokeswoman Luba al-Sumri said protestors at Arara junction threw stones and empty bottles toward police, who detained 18 Palestinians at the scene. She also said a policeman was wounded in the hand by a stone at a separate demonstration in al-Arakib village. The policeman was treated locally and two Palestinians were detained.
