Dozens of Palestinian young men bore the brunt of tear gas and suffered suffocation on Monday when Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at dawn near the al Khader Stadium, south of the Bethlehem city. Palestinian sources said the Palestinian spectators were taken by surprise while leaving the stadium when Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters. A large number of the spectators were suffocated and many fainted as a result.
