Israeli soldiers invaded the Beit Ummar and Ithna towns, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and arrested three Palestinians. Army also ordered removal of solar panels in small village. The Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported that the army invaded Ithna, west of Hebron, broke into and searched several homes, and arrested Ismael Talab Nattah, 28. Soldiers also invaded Beit Ummar towns, north of Hebron, and arrested Myassar Sadeq Abu Maria, 28, and Mahmoud Mohammad Awad, 26. Furthermore, Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Hebron, stated that dozens of soldiers invaded Lasfa area, near Yatta, and handed the residents military warrants ordering them to remove their solar panels. Jabour added that the village, is one of eight villages Israeli wants to destroy in the area. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers Monday morning cut down olive trees in the village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah. Azmi Samhan, a resident of Ras Karkar, told ( WAFA ) that settlers from the nearby settlement of Niriea cut down dozens of olive trees in a plot of land that belongs to his brother, Maher. He said settlers always attack villages during the olive picking season and destroy olive trees to harm the local Palestinian population who live from harvesting olive crops.
