Israeli occupation authorities today partially opened the Karam Abu Salem crossing, which is located south east of the Gaza Strip, for the entry of 440 trucks. Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that the occupation authorities allowed the entry of 440 truckloads with aids and goods for the commercial, agricultural and transport sectors, including 20 trucks loaded with gravel for private commercial sector and quantities of cement, construction iron and gravel for the international project as well as limited quantities of gasoline and cooking gas. The Karam Abu Salem, the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza for the entry of goods, aids and fuel, will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday for the Jewish holidays and on Friday and Saturday for the weekend.
