Israel announced on Friday closure of Haifa Airport, north its lands, following firing of rockets from Lebanon towards that area yesterday, a spokesman for Israeli army stated. The airport will remain closed at least until next Sunday due to the closure of airspace following the firing of four rockets at the Galilee in Lebanon, spokesman indicated. Arkia flights from the city to Eilat were canceled for the next two days, Israeli army noted, adding that a planned charter flight to Paphos in Cyprus will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport.
