Islamic Jihad says a Palestinian resistance fighter was slightly injured late Friday when an Israeli warplane fired a missile at a military site in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip. Abu Ahmad, a spokesman for Islamic Jihad’s military wing, says the Israeli missile targeted the Hitteen base in Beit Lahiya. He confirmed that a fighter affiliated with the group sustained light wounds. An Israeli military representative told Israeli media the army was not aware of the incident.
