Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki departed on Sunday to the United States in response to an invitation of US President Barack Obama to discuss bilateral relations and ways of developing them. A source at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said that al-Maliki headed to the United States in an official visit to discuss prospects of cooperation and ways to develop bilateral relations.
