President of Iraq\'s Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Massoud Barzani is due to arrive here in Tehran on Saturday. Barzani will be accompanied by a senior delegation during the visit which will take place at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. KRG health and energy ministers, several ranking political officials as well as governor-generals of Iraq\'s Arbil and Suleimaniyeh provinces will accompany President Barzani during the three-day trip. In Tehran, Barzani is due meet with senior Islamic Republic officials, including Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Saeed Jalili and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments. Expansion of political, economic and trade ties and cooperation as well as enhanced relations between the two states\' neighboring provinces are atop the agenda of talks between the KRG president and Iranian officials. This will be Barzani\'s second official visit to Iran as KRG President.
