Iran is not taking Israel\'s threats of an attack to stop its nuclear programme seriously, but it is ready to deal with any aggression, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday in New York. \"Generally speaking, we do not take Zionists very seriously or the possible threats that may come from them,\" Ahmadinejad said. However, he added that \"we have always been ready and we are ready (should conflict break out)\". Ahmadinejad is in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
