Navdeep Suri, Indian Ambassador to the UAE, has welcomed the World Government Summit’s decision to host India as Guest of Honour at the World Government Summit, WGS, being held in Dubai from February 11th to13th, 2018.
"As the world’s largest event, which focuses specifically on governance issues, WGS is the ideal platform for sharing prime minister Narendra Modi's vision for broad-based socio-economic development with a global audience. India’s high-profile participation at WGS 2018 will also constitute another important milestone in our strategic partnership with the UAE," Ambassador Suri said.
The Indian Ambassador expressed confidence that under the wise leadership of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates, this partnership will continue between the two countries.
