The head of the Hamas political bureau, Khalid Mashaal, is to visit Jordan soon after successful intervention from Qatar, a Hamas official said Friday. Izzat Risheq said he would visit the Jordanian capital and hold a meeting with King Abdullah, the newly formed government and Jordanian officials, after Qatar mediated on Mashaal's behalf.
