The German Embassy in Cairo has welcomed a decision by Berlin, allowing passengers to have their baggage on the same flight departing from Sharm el Sheikh airport to Germany.

The decision was made due to the favorable security measures at the airport.

A statement by the German Embassy in Cairo said Wednesday that Egypt's aviation safety authorities will apply certain security techniques to minimize risks during check-in and transfer of baggage.
