Riyadh - KUNA
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states will discuss taking actions against Lebanese Hezbollah party members at the Gulf states in a high-ranking security meeting to be held in Riyadh Sunday.
In press statement Wednesday, the GCC Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani said the meeting will be held upon instructions from the interior ministers of the member states to put into effect the recently-approved GCC resolution calling on members to taking actions against Hezbollah members in the Arab Gulf region.
The measures could include visas cancelation and financial and commercial transactions restrictions.
The GCC chief said the meeting will also consider cooperation with all relevant bodies in the Arab Gulf countries to apply the penalties.
